With
Paris Avenue,
the dB's -- featuring only
Peter Holsapple and
Will Rigby from the band's original lineup -- effectively pick up right where they left off seven years earlier with
The Sound of Music. While they're certainly past their groundbreaking days,
Paris Avenue is a welcome return and serves as a good example of what good pop music is all about -- fortunately, some things never change.
