JERSEY SHORE'S FINAL SEASON ... A bunch of years back when "Jersey Shore" first began, I saw the very first two episodes, because it mesmerized me like a nasty car wreck; I couldn't believe what I was seeing! After I snapped out of my brainwave-less trance, I almost puked and I never watched another minute of that sh*t. I'm glad the show is winding down its run as the final season kicks off this Thursday. I think its one of the worst programs in the history of TV, and I'm amazed it lasted as long as it did. Get the f*ck out of here "Jersey Shore"!

KATZ SAYS HE'S SORRY ... Edmonton Oilers owner, Daryl Katz, has issued an apology to the City of Edmonton, Northern Alberta, and most importantly, all Oilers fans, for his recent posturing in Seattle, WA. Katz basically said he was trying to send a message to city council and that was the wrong thing to do. Let's just get a win-win deal done and start building the arena complex; just don't use public money to do it. Why can't Katz just ask some of his high-flyin' business buddies to invest?! Now we just need the stupid NHL to clean up its mess, stick handle here for the story: www.CBC.ca/sports/hockey/nhl/story/2012/09/29/sp-oilers-katz-apology.html
