A walk in the Park, Volume 263

DAILY WARDEN TRACK: Today’s song comes from one of the most socially & politically charged bands of all-time, and although they haven’t necessarily “re-broken up,” they haven’t officially stated if they’ll make another record or play live together again either.  RAGE AGAINST The MACHINE released a “covers album” in 2000 called “Renegades,” which contained a very eclectic mix of songs originally done by artists like the Rolling Stones, Cypress Hill, Devo, the MC5, Bob Dylan, etc.  One of the tunes on the disc was an Afrika Bambaataa original, and the Rage version is incredible.  Click the friendly, inviting “play” button and crank the volume for “RENEGADES OF FUNK!”
