Theme park ride gets stuck for hours in Cali

California theme park riders found themselves stuck on a ride high up in the air for more than three hours after it broke down. The Windseeker ride left 20 riders stranded 300 ft above the ground. The Windseeker is supposed to lift people high in the air and spin them quickly in a circle, but it broke down leaving the riders helpless. It took theme park officials more than three hours to fix the ride and lower the riders down to the ground. No one was injured during the incident. "I really was hyperventilating. I didn't know if the whole thing would plummet," Dona Garrison said after she finally got off the ride.
