Sometimes I wonder if Slash regrets everything about Guns N' Roses.
Remember the Greatest Guitar Riffs Of All Time Poll from last week? The BBC released the poll crowning Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love as number 1 and Guns N' Roses Sweet Child O' Mine as the second best of all time.
The track, taken from their 1987 debut, was their biggest US hit when it launched as a single in '88, and helped push the band further into stardom.
Slash dismissed the poll that named HIS riff the second-best of all time - saying it's "impossible to take seriously."
"I definitely don't sit there and go, 'Yeah, it's the greatest riff.' It's very surreal when somebody says something like that....You’re very appreciative of it, and you count your lucky stars that you got mentioned in that position, or even at all. Then you take it with a grain of salt and try not to dwell on it.”
