There have been many books written about Led Zeppelin, but a new one called Led Zeppelin: The Oral History Of The World's Greatest Rock Band is said to look at the career of the legendary British quartet in a whole new light. According to Brave Words, author Barney Hoskyns interviewed more than 200 sources for the 576-page book, including Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, the band's late manager Peter Grant and road manager Richard Cole.

Hoskyns also spoke with close friends and employees of the band to create a comprehensive portrait through their recollections. The book also features numerous photos of the band both on and off the stage, many of them published for the first time. The book is also said to take a "fresh look" at the band's music, its creative and recording process, its cultural impact and the band's personal lives and highly publicized lifestyles.

Led Zeppelin: The Oral History Of The World's Greatest Rock Band will be published on November 6th and is available now for pre-order at Amazon.
