FRINGE FESTIVAL!

JOIN ME AT O2'S ON WHYTE … Today through next Sunday, August 26th (Fringe Festival), I'll be broadcasting from O2's Taphouse & Grill on 104th street, just north of Whyte avenue. Drop by, say hello, and enter to win a $25 Gift Card for O2's – we're giving away one each day. Our street team will be here giving away a ton of prizes on the rooftop patio every day too – it's the best rooftop in the Whyte ave district! Visit www.O2s.ca
METALLICA HAS LEFT THE BUILDING ... I'm still feeling the pangs of jealousy over the fact that I was not witness to the spectacle of METALLICA this weekend. While they were here, they were shooting video for their upcoming documentary, and later this week in Vancouver, they’ll be recording their shows for an upcoming live DVD. Both are expected to be released next year, along with a new album! Now it’s time to get ready for The CULT this Friday, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS on September 12th, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS in November and many more. The Paul Brown Show will have another major concert announcement tomorrow morning too!

SHIA LABEOUF TO HAVE REAL SEX IN FILM … I’ve never been a fan of actor, Shia LaBeouf (Transformers), but I definitely have to give him some respect and cred for his dedication. LaBeouf is in a relationship, so you’d have to think this could put a strain on things. I wonder who the chick will be that he’s going to “get it on” with; she better be worth it! The down and dirty is here: www.LFPress.com/entertainment/movies/2012/08/18/20115196.html
OLD MAN KILLS ROOMMATE … We’ve all had that shitty roommate who had one or two bad habits that drove us crazy, but we lived through it and laughed about it later, right? This story gives a whole new meaning to “grumpy old man,” so make sure you know your roommate before unleashing your vocals in the shower: www.NYDailynews.com/news/national/elderly-man-94-beaten-death-roommate-83-singing-article-1.1139133
