THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS ROCK ... I just returned from spending the last weekend in Jasper, and it was fabulous!  Sunny, calm, 22 degrees, and yet another wedding to be a part of.  Congratulations to our friends, Becky & Derek, who tied the knot up at Pyramid Lake.  It was a wicked time, but I have to admit, I'm really happy that all the weddings are done for this year; they can be a bit of a burden!  BTW, whenever you're out in Jasper, make sure you listen to The BEAR on 92.3 FM.

FIRST WEEKEND OF AUTUMN ... Summer fizzled into Fall yesterday with the "Autumnal Equinox," but it's still going to be very Summer-ish for the next few days.  There'll be sizzling sunshine and temps in the mid-20s into the middle of next week; so make sure you get out and take advantage of it.

20th HALLOWEEN HOWLER ... Keep it on The Bear to win tickets to the 20th Annual Halloween Howler, every day until October 25th.  Listen for your "Cue to call" and be caller 10 at 780-451-8666 when you hear it!  There's a $20,000 cashdoor prize, insane costume prizes including cash and a Powersports vehicle from Cycleworks.  This year's bands are OUR LADY PEACE, I MOTHER EARTH, and MONSTER TRUCK.  Plus, DJ Harmon B will bespinning tunes in between sets; don't miss out on the craziest, most debaucherous party of the year!  If you're new to the city, words don't do it justice; you have to go and experience the mayhem to believe all the tales!

EDMONTON INDY CANCELLED ... NO BRIDGE FOR CHUCK NORRIS ...
