FAREWELL TO SCOTT McCORD...Parliament Hill

...OFF TO ROCK OTTAWA!  In case you didn't hear earlier this week, our Afternoon Drive Host, Scott McCord, is leaving his 3pm-7pm time slot after a few highly-entertaining years and is taking his sh*t show to our Nation's Capital.  McCord is taking over the Morning Show at our brother station, 106.9 The Bear in Ottawa.  A huge congrats to you buddy, but there are a couple things you should be concerned about: the slightly more conservative (literally) population because of all the government workers, and ... knowing that you're a die-hard Vancouver Canucks fan, you'll have to deal with all the disgruntled-perennial-loser Senators fans.  Oh well, misery loves company, right?  Best wishes Scott, and go Oilers!  Follow McCord online at www.TheBear.fmWet T-Shirt

"WET-T" TUESDAYS AT EDEN ... With McCord's departure, I'll be taking over his spot as host of the world-famous "Wet-T Tuesdays" at Eden Exotic Entertainment.  Every Tuesday night, we get a bunch of local hotties on stage to compete in the "I'm an Eden Rockstar" Wet T-Shirt contest for a nifty $600 cash prize!  Join me every Tuesday night, I'll buy you a drink and we'll cheer for some boobies.  For all the adult fun at Eden, check out www.EdenEdmonton.comBurnin' Brunette

HEAD SHOP WINS COURT RULING ... Yesterday an Edmonton judge ruled a St. Albert licensing bylaw regarding the sales of drug paraphernalia to be unconstitutional, and in essence said the bylaw was out of the jurisdiction of St. Albert's Municipal Court.  The decision marks a big win for a very fun client of The Bear, www.Chads420.ca, and make sure you listen daily at 4:20pm Mountain time, for The Bear's "420 Bong Song" to win tons of cool sh*t from The Chad 420 Smoke Shop!  To read more about the "Head Shop" bylaw ruling, roll your blunt over here: www.EdmontonJournal.com/news/Judge+overturns+Albert+bylaw+restricting+sales+drug/7809206/story.htmlSick mama

FLU BUG BITES NORTH AMERICA ... I've been Flu-free for about five years or so and I rarely get sick, so when I contracted a strain of the Flu earlier this week, it kicked me in the ass!  I have severe chest & sinus congestion, a sore throat, burning eyes, achy body, and a throbbing headache that pounded my skull for over two days non-stop!  Luckily I haven't been throwing up or suffering any diarrhea; not that you needed to know that!  Anyway, I don't get flu shots, do you?  Hospitals across the continent are calling this year's Flu outbreak the worst since "H1N1" a few years back.Denver Broncettes
