DAILY WARDEN TRACK: On my previous two posts I've featured new music, so today we're going to jump back to the mid-90's with a band who experienced massive success, after the first single they ever released became the biggest "Alternative" track in the world in 1995.  That monstrous tune was "Tomorrow," by Australia's SILVERCHAIR.  Their first album, "Frogstomp," was huge, with "Israel's Son," "Pure Massacre," and of course, "Tomorrow."  What made that debut album so incredible is the fact that the guys in Silverchair were only 15-years-old when it was released, unbelievable!  The band's second album, "Freak Show," was released in '97, it was another hefty success, and contained today's track.  Click the "play button" to the right for "ABUSE ME."

Topic Of The Day: WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE SYMBOL OF CANADA?  I saw something this morning on the Weather Network, so I Googled "maple syrup festival," and little did I know... There are 100's of 'em.  I know maple syrup is very Canadian, but I didn't realise just how much everyone absolutely loves the shit, wow!  I want you to shoot some foolish video of yourself doing something with maple syrup, and post it on the official Bear facebook page, you could win some tickets to see HEAD Of The HERD, in concert on May 29th.

NHL TRADE DEADLINE WEDNESDAY... I'm a lifetime Edmonton Oilers fan, and there hasn't been much to cheer for over the past several years, but if your team is good, then maybe you'll be interested in what happens this Wednesday with the National Hockey League's trade deadline.  TSN has the best coverage by far, go here, and Go Oilers too, heh heh.

ACADEMY AWARDS TOMORROW NIGHT... I hate awards shows, but I did see a couple movies that are up for multiple trophies tomorrow night.  They're completely opposite from each other in every way imaginable, but both of them kicked me in the balls equally; "12 YEARS A SLAVE," and "The WOLF Of WALL STREET."  There are some cool presenters too: Robert De Niro, Jim Carrey, Sam L. Jackson, Bill Murray & about 50 other "stars."  Check the official Oscars site here.
