DAILY WARDEN TRACK: Over the past several years I've really gained a huge appreciation for the music of BEN HARPER.  Two of his earliest albums blew me away when I first heard them, I think mostly because of his ability to make an album flow seamlessly while crossing genres with almost every song.  His vocals are powerful and his guitar playing is incredible, whether it's reggae, folk, blues, rock, soul or roots.  He's releasing a new album in May, a collaboration with his mom Ellen, called "Childhood Home."  BTW, those two albums I mentioned, were "The Will To Live (1997)," and "Fight For Your Mind (1995)," which contains today's song, "BURN ONE DOWN."  Click right, and use it as your "420" theme, but please celebrate responsibly.

SPRING BRINGS HOMELESS TO VALLEY: Every year in Edmonton, we lose our minds for Spring, but one of things the season brings is not quite as exciting as green grass, outdoor activities, bbq's, parties, festivals, etc.  It's the increase in the homeless' tent -camps that get set up in the city's beautiful river valley.  They seem to grow in number & size every year, and it keeps a lot of locals, especially those who live in the valley, on edge.  Read more here.
