Friday Fun: Dudes Throwing Rocks With Wrong Hand

Posted By: Ryan Maier http://www.thebearrocks.com · 5/17/2013 7:12:00 AM

So simple but so funny. If you and your chums are ever bored, just pick up some rocks and have at it with your other hand (That may sound bad, but it'll make sense when you watch this). I apologize in advance for several shirtless dudes who appear throughout this video...

This is the first music video ever shot in space. Today, Chris Hadfield returns to Earth via a Russian space capsule. Yesterday, command of the International Space Station was handed over to Russian cosmonaut  Pavel Vinogradov, poor guy, he's got some huge shoes to fill. Here's the video that Chris shot.

My Stupid Wildcat Strike Song

Posted By: Ryan Maier http://www.thebearrocks.com · 4/30/2013 9:25:00 AM

Some Provincial Corrections staff workers are on strike right now. They're dubbing it a "Wildcat Strike". The definition of a wildcat strike is as follows. " a strike begun by workers spontaneously or without union approval'. I'm not taking sides on this matter, but I will say that calling it a "WIldcat strike" makes it seem a LOT cooler and a lot more intense than it actually is. SO: Here's a stupid song about it. Click the Play button above to hear it.

The Teenage Gentlemen (AKA The Bear Band) opened up for Monster Truck on tuesday, and the author of this review has been FAR too kind to us. Hope you like the read. Click the link below.

Whirlpools Are Mesmerizing

Posted By: Ryan Maier http://www.thebearrocks.com · 4/23/2013 8:40:00 AM

I had to share this video. It was in shot in Latvia. It's a pretty long video, but if you have time to kill, it'll hypnotize you. I have so many questions about whirlpools now. Where does everything go? I want to believe that it leads to another dimension, but it more than likely just ends up in an underground cavern... Hopefully a cavern with Minotaurs and griffins, though.
