I'll admit...I WANTED to hate King of Donair.
When one gives their opinion on donairs, one opens themselves up to every one else's opinion on donairs. I'm sure this particular review will be met with plenty of, "If you want the best donair you gotta go to..." I've heard 'em all and tried most.

lanted to Alberta. Like that guy who liked that band way before you ever heard of them, Nova Scotia claims to have invented the donair and there is a certain off putting, smugness about it.
King of Donair doesn't claim to have invented the donair. They do claim to be, "the first to introduce." My visit to KOD disappointingly proved that just because you are the first, does not mean you are the best.
