The Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival is North America’s largest and longest-running Fringe Festival. The Edmonton Fringe doesn’t jury or censor artists’ work in any way and performances are selected through an unbiased lottery system.

Castrol - World of Outlaws

100.3 The Bear presents WORLD OF OUTLAWS at Castrol Raceway on August 22nd & 23rd!

For two hot days in August, Castrol Raceway will again be the center of the Sprint Car Universe, as the best sprint car drivers in the world, return for 8th Annual Oil City Cup with the STP World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. The winged warriors will do battle with their fire-breathing 850-plus horsepower machines each night for the $10,000 top prize.

Tour of Alberta

100.3 The Bear welcomes the Tour of Alberta presented by ATB Financial!

Canada’s largest major international professional cycling stage race, is back from September 2 – 7, 2014! Come watch 120 of the world’s best cyclists as they race over 700 grueling kilometers across Alberta.
The Tour of Alberta is a six-day professional bicycle race promoted under Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) rules. The approximate total distance of the Tour of Alberta will be just over 750 kilometers (470 miles).

Join Paul Brown at Krush Ultralounge on Thursday September 11th, 18th, 25th and Thursday, October 2nd as he hosts and takes part this night of amateur comedy!

Judges will be looking for: 1. original talent; 2. overall attitude and ability 3. creativity 4. ability to connect with the audience and audience reaction.

Shabam Beer Tasting Festival

100.3 The Bear Presents... Shabam Beer Tasting Festival – Friday, September 12th at the Alberta Aviation Museum Hangar!

Shabam is a unique beer tasting event that attracts serious beer lovers and introduces early enthusiasts, by way of tastings and discussions, to carefully crafted, flavorful beers. Over 50 specialties to sample!

Proceeds of this festival support the Kidney Foundation to fund innovative kidney research and to support persons impacted by kidney disease.

100.3 The Bear is proud to support the CLIMB OF HOPE on Saturday, September 13th at Louise McKinney Riverfront Park!

The Climb of Hope has already raised over $590,000 towards the AB Cancer Foundation, directly benefiting Edmonton’s Cross Cancer Institute. This unique and spirited event, proudly presented by Hudsons Canadian Tap House, combines a 5.5km run or 3.5km walk with stair climbing and rock ‘n’ roll music to keep you movin’ and groovin’ for an excellent cause!
