Two of the better Seattle bands that didn't fall into the grunge rock craze of the early 90's are now available on one split record. On the one side is Gas Huffer bring on their usual entourage of sideburns and wacky garage rock with a cover of the Silly Killer's "Knife Manual." Pretty rocking, although it comes nowhere near their rendition of The Rezillos' "Bad Guy Reaction." Then on the flip we have Mudhoney doing the Angry Samoans classic "You Stupid Asshole," complete with Mark Arm's screechy vocals and a sloppy guitar solo. Read More
