Renaissance's Concert Classics, Vol. 9 captures a concert Jack Bruce gave on his supporting tour for the 1980 album, I've Always Wanted To Do This. On this tour, he was supported by Clem Clempson, Billy Cobham and David Sancious, who turned out to be a strong, sympathetic backing band for Bruce, capable of playing both heavy blues rock and jazzy excursions.
