The intrinsic P.j. Olsson gets twisted and dramatic on his major label debut, Words For Living. This singer/songwriter bridges the gap between hip-hop and acoustic harmonies to fuse an earthy hollow sound into sonic heaven. Olsson delivers a brash whirlpool of turntablism and pure funkadelic grooves, alongside woven, intense lyrics. "Visine" is a raw arrangement of club/dance vibes, and the bluesy ballad "People" dramatically illustrates Olsson's sullen determination. "Good Dream" is a mesmerizing tale criticizing history, even cat calling Adolf Hitler. Read More
