The Gits - Seafish Louisville

After the murder of singer Mia Zapata in 1993, the remaining Gits decided to make a change and formed Evil Stig ("Gits Live" backward) with Joan Jett to record an album and perform a benefit concert in 1995 to the memory of Zapata. Seafish Louisville acts as a fine example of another sort of memorial for Zapata, as it highlights her rousing, powerful voice. The album is primarily a collection of live recordings of this Seattle band, with outtakes and such sprinkled in.
