Review by Rich Goldman
On their sixth album, Sister Machine Gun continues to do a superb job of incorporating a variety of musical styles into their post-industrial electro-rock; the hip-hop vocals of "Loser," the funky "Down On Me," the Pink Floyd-esque "Release," and the acoustic folk and bluesy harmonica of "Ten Minute God" are all good examples. Unfortunately, most of these experiments have been tried before by other bands, and have already become cliché. The impeccable musicianship and production on 6.0 nevertheless succeeds to breathe new life into them. Read More
