If Toppatakkeja Ja Toledon Terästä was progressive, Homo Sapiens was rock, and Yövieraat folk, then Outo Elämä must be pop. Outo Elämä is, in band's own words, a counter-strike to the distorted-guitar wall of Yövieraat. And it certainly is -- Outo Elämä lacks of guitars, and instead Tiainen's melodic keyboards step in.
