With no end in sight to the emergence of further Thin Lizzy best-of collections, the 2001 double-disc import set The Boys Are Back In Town may be the one that has come the closest to getting it right thus far. Similar in setup to 1996's Wild One: The Very Best Of Thin Lizzy, Boys contains one disc that focuses solely on Lizzy's hits, while the other contains a wealth of hard-to-find rarities. Sporting a nifty painting of the early-'80s version of the group by longtime Lizzy artist Jim Fitzpatrick, almost all the expected standards are included on disc one: the shout-along title track, "Jailbreak," "Emerald," "Waiting for an Alibi," "Dancing in the Moonlight," "Cowboy Song," and more. Read More
