Armageddon was an intended 1970s supergroup made up of singer Keith Relf, formerly of The Yardbirds, guitarist Martin Pugh from Steamhammer, bassist Louis Cennamo, and drummer Bobby Caldwell, who had worked with Johnny Winter. Their debut album charted at number 151, but they were effectively scuttled when Relf died of accidental electrocution on May 14, 1976. ~ William Ruhlmann, All Music Guide
