100.3 The Bear’s Children’s Fund has been going strong for over 20 years and has always aimed to give back to children in our community through various initiatives.
This year we’re very excited to team up with Edmonton’s Food Bank to launch Yukon and McCord’s Snack Attack Grocery Program. This program will support inner -city schools in Edmonton and aims to provide nutritious snacks to the students attending these schools, ensuring they have the energy and sustenance needed to thrive academically and socially.
In 2024 we kicked off the initiative with a $5000 donation to Edmonton’s Food Bank and added a $2000 donation for Delton School, Norwood School, John A. McDougall School, Winkwentowin School and Bannerman School. In order to keep fulfilling the needs of this program we encourage you to donate today.
